Product Designer
You’ll be a Product Designer shaping digital products end to end, from understanding the problem to handing off designs the team can build with confidence. The core of the role is product design: turning goals, flows and requirements into clear, usable interfaces, and validating them fast with real prototypes. We work with an AI-first workflow, so you’ll use Claude every day to explore ideas, prototype and move from low to high fidelity at speed. We want someone with strong product judgment, who asks why before how, brings their own criteria to every design decision, and cares whether what we shipped actually works for the people using it. You’ll work directly with US-based clients and side by side with PMs, developers and QA. EdTech experience is a plus, but what matters most is how you think, how you communicate, and how you defend your design decisions.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer in software teams, with products you actually shipped
- Solid product thinking: you can frame a problem, challenge a requirement, and design for outcomes, not just screens
- Strong UI craft: visual hierarchy, typography, layout and interaction details that hold up in real use
- Experience building and working within design systems: components, variants, tokens and documentation
- Advanced Figma: auto layout, components, variables and prototyping
- Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools in your design process: exploring concepts, building interactive prototypes and speeding up iteration
- Enough technical fluency to talk with developers about feasibility, states and edge cases, and deliver clean, buildable handoffs
- Advanced English, written and oral. You’ll present your work to US clients
- Clear, confident communication: you present your work, explain the reasoning behind it, and keep stakeholders aligned
- EdTech experience
- Experience with Webflow
- Experience running user research or usability testing
- Code-based prototyping (HTML, React) with AI tools
- Own the design of client products end to end, from discovery to handoff and beyond
- Turn PRDs, flows and business goals into wireframes, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes
- Use Claude and other AI tools to prototype, test ideas and iterate fast
- Build and evolve design systems that keep products consistent and scalable
- Present design work to clients, gather feedback and turn it into clear next steps
- Partner closely with PMs, developers and QA, and review implementation to make sure what ships matches the design intent
- Contribute to improving how we design at Neocoast, from workflows and templates to how we use AI
