Project Manager
You’ll be a Project Manager owning the delivery of products end to end, from turning a client’s goals into a clear backlog to making sure what ships actually solves the problem. The core of the role is delivery: scope, timelines, and being the person the client trusts to tell them the truth about where things stand. But we’re not looking for someone who just moves tickets. We want someone with real product sense, who asks why before how, brings their own criteria to discovery and roadmap conversations, and cares whether what we shipped actually moved the needle. You’ll work directly with US-based clients and side by side with designers, developers and QA. EdTech experience is a plus, but what matters most is how you think, how you communicate, and how you show up when a project gets messy.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager, Product Owner or Product Manager in software teams, with products you actually shipped
- Solid product thinking: you can frame a problem, challenge a requirement, and tell the difference between output and outcome
- Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), running the full cadence: refinement, planning, dailies, demos and retros
- Comfortable managing scope, timelines, dependencies and risk across parallel initiatives, flagging problems before they become problems
- Advanced English, written and oral. You’ll be on calls with US clients every week
- Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day, drafting specs, summarizing requirements, speeding up analysis and reporting
- Enough technical fluency to have a real conversation with developers about trade-offs, APIs and technical debt
- Honest, confident communication with clients and stakeholders: you set expectations, push back when needed, and keep everyone aligned
- Own the delivery of client projects end to end, from kickoff to launch and beyond
- Be the main point of contact for the client: manage expectations, communicate progress honestly, and build the trust that lets you influence decisions
- Translate business goals into a clear, prioritized backlog with well-written user stories and acceptance criteria
- Run the agile cadence with the team: refinement, sprint planning, dailies, demos and retrospectives
- Keep scope, timeline, dependencies and risks under control, and raise blockers early
- Contribute to product discovery and roadmap conversations, bringing your own criteria on what’s worth building and what isn’t
- Partner closely with designers, developers and QA to keep the team unblocked and shipping at a sustainable pace
- Contribute to improving how we run projects at Neocoast, from processes and templates to ways of working
