Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles or technical leadership positions.
  • Solid Technical Judgment: Deep hands-on experience in software development to understand the challenges a team faces from the inside.
  • Business Vision: The ability to connect technical and management decisions with their impact on clients, operations, and Neocoast's priorities.
  • Result-Oriented Leadership: Someone who provides direction and guidance, setting clear expectations and giving difficult feedback when necessary.
  • Ownership & Critical Thinking: A leader who takes charge of difficult decisions and challenges existing assumptions to propose improvements based on evidence.
  • Change Management: Ability to move well in contexts of ambiguity and help the team align with the business direction.

Responsibilities

  • Area Evolution: Identify gaps in processes and promote changes that strengthen the area's operation and its ability to respond to project needs.
  • Project Technical Health: Act as the transversal technical reference for assigned projects, maintaining visibility over their health and scaling risks in coordination with the Head of Delivery.
  • People & Performance: Conduct Performance Reviews, establish clear growth expectations, and manage the professional development of our developers.
  • Operations & Resource Allocation: Participate in staffing decisions, define team compositions, and maintain an updated map of the area's tech stack.
  • Technical Lead Role: Maintain real proximity to the team's work and client needs by actively participating as a Tech Lead in specific projects.
